Conrad Wanyama is back to pair with Captain Ivan Magomu as the half-back partnership when Stanbic Black Pirates take on Impis on Saturday at Kings Park Arena.
Jeremiah Josenu gets the nod to put on the number 12 jersey as he replaces William Nkore who was released for national duties with the Uganda cranes 7s team. Timothy Mala Odong retains the outside center duties.
Further outside, there are two changes to the back three, seeing Arnold Atukunda (right) and Benson Ngono (full back) joining Olweny Moses (left) to marshal the attack from the back.
Moses Olupot, Jones Kamiza, and Puis Ojeabulu will look to bring on pace and power in the backs division when called upon to finish.
In the pack, Alex Ssebagala (Hook), Douglas Komakech (Lock), and Moses Zziwa (Flank) return to the run-on side at the expense of injured Nathan Bwambale (Knee), Frank Kidega (concussion symptoms), and Humphrey Tashobya (Rib) respectively.
Ivan Kabagambe and Alema Ruhweza continue to start in the front row. Alvin Rukundo and Martin Karugonjo will provide the front-row cover.
Umar Bakulumpagi remains at lock, while Musa Muwonge will start at the blind side and Sydney Gongodyo is charged to anchor the pack.
Shadrack Manano, Daniel Nshimiyimana, and the young dynamic Patrick Matovu find room among the finishers.
Steven Alul (Ankle), Alex Aturinda, Desire Ayera, Mubarak Wandera, and Timothy Kisiga (National 7s duty) are unavailable for selection.
