Last season Pirates’ top try scorer Alex Aturinda returns from his study leave to anchor the back row with Sydney Gongodyo (Blind) and recent half-centurion Humphrey Tashobya (Open).
Douglas Komakech will be joined by Umar Bakulumpagi to make up the second-row partnership.
The front row remains unchanged with Alema Ruhweza at tight head, fresh from his man-of-the-match performance during the last week’s win against Buffaloes. Nathan Bwambale splits the props with Alvin Rukundo on the side.
Musa Muwonge, Martin Karugonjo, and Ivan Kabagambe are the replacement front-rowers on the Pirates bench.
Stanbic Black pirates who have won four on the bounce – include academy graduate Patrick Matovu among the replacements and the young flanker could make his first Premiership outing if called upon.
Richard Odokere and Mubaraka Wandera are the remaining forwards included among the replacements.
Moses Zziwa (Hip), Frank Kidega (Team rotation), and Desire Ayera (work) are unavailable to make the trip.
Moses Olweny is the only change to the starting backline, and he will be joined on the opposite wing by Paul Bagota, while Timothy Kisiga retains the number 15 jersey in the back three.
Conrad Wanyama and Captain Ivan Magomu are the starting half-backs, with William Nkore and Timothy Odongo as the centers.
Arnold Atukunda is back from an injury that kept him out of a large part of the sevens circuit and Uganda cup tournaments and is selected alongside Moses Olupot as cover for the backs.
Benson Ngono (Team rotation), Jones Kamiza, and Jeremiah Josenu (School) are unavailable to make the trip.
