Pirates vs Kobs: 9th April 2022, Kings Park Arena 4 pm EAT
Captain Ivan Magomu to start fly half when Kampala Old Boys visit on Saturday.
The Stanbic Black Pirates’ top points scorer will be joined by Conrad Wanyama to make the half-back partnership for this round 16 game. Steven Alul will be providing cover among the finishers.
James Mugisha is welcomed back to make the mid-field combination with Isaac Massa who will wear the number 12 jersey.
Speedster Arnold Atukunda moving to the right-wing, is the only change in the back three. Timothy Odongo is retained on the blind wing with Timothy Kisiga at full-back.
Solomon Okia looks to make his return after a long layoff due to injury as he is named on the bench. Moses Olweny rounds off the back’s finishers.
An unchanged front row of Alema Ruhweza, Nathan Bwambale, and Peter Bisaso will pack down with Sydney Gongodyo and Frank Kidega as the second-row pairing.
Kelvin Balagade’s injury during the week in the national team 7s training keeps him out of the back row. Humphrey Tashobya and Alex Aturinda will man the flanks with Desire Ayera as the eighth man.
Sunday Jaguar, Ivan Wavamunno, and Ivan Kabagambe will make the front row cover. Experienced Ivan Cadri and the energetic Mubarak Wandera complete the forwards’ replacements.
