Pirates vs Rhinos: 12th March 2022, Kings Park Arena 4 pm EAT
Timothy Kisiga retains the number 15 shirt as the back three combo changes for the game against Rhinos at Kings Park Arena.
Joshua Engwau will start on the right wing as he is passed fit after the injury suffered against Rhinos in the first round. Colleb Nuwagaba who started off the bench in the away win against Impis replaces Timothy Odongo, who hobbled off with an ankle injury at Makerere.
James Mugisha comes into the run-on side at the expense of Isaac Massa who is out sick. He will partner with the in-form Ivan Magomu, fresh from his back to back man of the match performances.
Stephen Alur starts at scrum half, William Nkore lining up outside him in the number 10 jersey.
Moses Olupot, Jones Kamiza and Solomon Banawa will provide cover for the backs. Conrad Wanyama is rested for this clash.
In the forwards, Alema Ruhweza replaces Ivan Kabagambe in the front-row with Nathan Bwambale and Peter Bisaso retaining their spots at hook and tight head respectively.
Sydney Gongodyo returns to partner Abel Agum in the engine room.
Humphrey Tashobya comes in on the open side flank to join the dynamic duo of Alex Aturinda (blind) and Desire Ayera (eighth man).
Sunday Jaguar, Edgar Pajob, Moses Zziwa, Ivan Cadri and Mubarack Wandera make up the finishers in the forwards brigade.
Ivan Magomu will captain the team, with Nathan Bwambale and Timothy Kisiga as the co-vice-captains.
Ivan Kabagambe (Sick), Ivan Wavamunno (Bereavement leave), Kelvin Balagade (Injury), Timothy Odongo (Injury), Frank kidega (Work) and Mohammed Haruna (Family Commitment) – all not available for selection.
