Humphrey Tashobya is the only change to an otherwise unchanged forwards pack in last weekend’s bonus point 54-06 win against Buffalos.
Known for his lineout prowess, Humphrey will join Frank Kidega in the second row for this top-of-the-table clash against Heathens. Abel Agum and Sydney Gongodyo come in to provide dependable cover in the engine room among the finishers.
Nathan Bwambale (Hooker) retains his co-vice captain duties, with Alema Ruhweza and Peter Bisaso in the front row on either side. The front row cover has the powerful Sunday jaguar, and seasoned scrummagers, Ivan Wavanunno together with Edgar Pajob coming off the bench.
The back-row combo of Kelvin Balagade (Blindside), Alex Aturinda (Openside), and Desire Ayera (8th Man) has been immense in this seasons’ attack and so far has rucked up 31 tries between them.
Their solid defense, ball-carrying ability, and excellent breakdown skills will be called upon to provide a platform for a go-forward ball. The hardworking Mubaraka Wandera completes the replacement in the forwards’ section.
Stephen Alur starts in the number 10 shirt, replacing William Nkore who hopped off with a knee injury in the last game. Conrad Wanyama starts at scrum-half to complete the starting half-back partnership.
The league’s top points scorer who is just 3 points away from a century, Captain Ivan Magomu will continue to combine with co–vice-captain Isaac Massa to provide stability in the midfield.
Moses Olweny gets the nod on the right wing with Timothy Odongo lining up on the other wing at Kings Park following his impressive performance in the last game. Timothy Kisiga continues to pull strings at full-back. James Mugisha and Joshua Engwau are included amongst the backs finishers.
